CeBr3 Detectors for Gamma-Ray Detection Research

The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) hereby formally announces the intent to award a firm-fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $250,000 to CapeSym Inc.,. The contractor will be required to provide Seven (7) CeBr3 cylinders {50.8 mm diameter x 50.8 mm height), cut to a hexagonal shape and encapsulated in NRL-provided titanium canisters.
