Description
This effort is for the manufacture and delivery of quantity of one (1) Concentrator Test Set Type: TTU-518/E (PN: 1779AS500-2, NSN: 4920-01-429-8089). This item is for the F/A-18 E-F Program in support of VFC-204 stand up. It is the Government's intention to issue a sole-source, firm-fixed price procurement to Cobham, CAGE: 99251. Under authority 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and implemented in FAR 6.302-l(b)(l), to try to develop this asset" would incur costs that are not expected to be recouped through competition. Any attempt to procure a different part number would require the Government to fund a Preliminary Design Review (PDR) Critical Design Review (CDR) First Article Test (FAT) and Test & Evaluation (T&E) effort for a new vendor.
