Description: The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Rock Island, on behalf of the Office of Project Lead, Joint Services (PL JS), located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ is currently seeking interested sources for the design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of a redundant 69-kV electrical power system for the Radford Army Ammunition Plant (RFAAP) in Radford, VA. The scope of this project requires the design, construction (minimum 50-year operational expectancy), and right-of-way acquisitions for a new 69-kV interconnection point from an active American Electric Power (AEP) transmission circuit into RFAAP.
