Description
The Government intends to award a sole source procurement under RFO 12.102(a) to Span-America Medical Systems, Inc., or an authorized offeror providing the product of the approved source. The Dayton VA Medical Center (VAMC) has a requirement for ten each new Control Unit (Span-America P/N 27686). The high-performance digital pump is required to activate the active therapeutic modes of the Custom Care Convertible Low Air Loss (LAL) series mattresses used by the Dayton VAMC. By connecting this unit to the mattress system, it provides consistent Low Air Loss (LAL) and alternating pressure therapies to treat Stage I-IV pressure injuries.
