Description
Notice of Intent to Sole Source for service contract agreement for the AspenTech for software maintenance and support (SMS) renewal with a period of performance 10/01/2026 09/30/2027. In accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, the Department of Energy (DOE), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis to AspenTech the maintenance agreement is proprietary to the software manufacturer. Because without AspenTech software maintenance and support (SMS) NETL would be at risk of failure or loss of historical data that could severely impact the organizations ability to operate in an efficient and effective manner and prevent access to engineering so
