Design Manufacturing Processes for New Materials

PURPOSE This special notice is to inform vendors of an existing Request for Solutions (RFS). The purpose of this RFS is to solicit innovative solutions to the current problem of weaknesses in energy related supply chains and manufacturing processes, challenges related to improving the performance of energy storage and specific generation systems, the problem of incorporating commonality and standardization through development, prototyping and demonstration efforts. The Government will evaluate the solutions with the intent of awarding a Project Order under the Expeditionary Missions Consortium (EMC2) Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 4022. 2.
