The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) urgently required the continued use of the Life Safety paging system provided by Spok Inc. to facilitate immediate and effective emergency code group responses in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Emergency Department (ED) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including evenings and weekends. This system is critical for ensuring timely intervention and care during various medical emergencies, thereby safeguarding the health and lives of our Veteran patients. VAGLAHS has successfully integrated Spok Inc. paging transmitters and antennas, which are strategically installed on the roof of the main hospital building. This specialized equipment is essential for ensuring that emergency pages can be reliably broadcast throughout the entire facility,
