Digital Scene Matching Area Correlator (DSMAC) Illuminator Unit (DIU) Re-design

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a new task order under the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-25-G-0009 for a re-design of the Digital Scene Matching Area Correlator (DSMAC) Illuminator Unit (DIU). The DIU design update is intended to spectrally match the current DSMAC Illuminator and remain compliant with the physical and functional requirements of Tomahawk Block V Performance Specification. The DIU is discontinued and no longer available within the marketplace. There are no suitable drop-in replacements. A re-design of DIU is recommended to mitigate material obsolescence and ensure continued availability of the DSMAC for all Tomahawk variants.
