The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) has a requirement for the procurement of components to upgrade the current Distributed Antenna System (DAS) to Airspans MobileAccess 6200 platform. MMACs DAS is a complex system that consists of the following major components: Signal Source: Provided by the carriers via internet connection at no cost to the Government. Head-End Unit (HEU): The central hub that receives, processes, and manages signals from the source, distributing them to remote radio units. Remote Units / Radio Units: Installed throughout the building, these receive signals from the head-end unit, amplify them, and distribute them to localized antennas.
