Electronic Case Reporting

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), seeks a qualified jurisdictional public health department to provide professional public health informatics and epidemiological support services to implement, expand, and evaluate electronic case reporting (eCR) for occupational respiratory diseases, including silicosis, asbestosis, work-related asthma, and, where feasible, malignant mesothelioma. The contractor shall establish and/or enhance eCR connectivity, develop and refine Reportable Conditions Knowledge Management System (RCKMS) logic sets, validate eCR trigger performance, analyze surveillance data, develop standardized occupation and industry data workflows, and prepare technical reports and dissemination materials.
