Description
The Government is issuing this SS announcement as a part of market research in support of Submarine Valve Regulated Lead Acid Batteries (SVRLA). The Government is seeking information on engineering and technical RCA support for Stryten Energy LLC SVRLA batteries on all Navy submarines and Moored Training Ships. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division located at Naval Weapons Station, Crane, IN intends to award a sole-source contract to Stryten Energy LLC, 5925 Cabot Pkwy, Alpharetta, GA 30005-2268, in accordance with Statutory Authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The basis for restricting competition is the proprietary design of the SVRLA batteries
