Fort Lee Vehicle Recovery Range construction project

The purpose of this project is to construct 24 concrete turning pads, along with required site drainage improvements and road alignment and repair as necessary. The contract will be executed in three distinct phases, with the contractor granted access to only one phase at a time. Completion of each phase is required before proceeding to the next. The remaining phases (two and three) will only be performed if the options for phases are exercised. During construction activities in one phase, the Army will conduct training operations in the remaining two phases. Each turning pad, as identified in the project drawings, will require excavation of the existing roadbed and placement of concrete in accordance with the design specifications.
