This Justification for an Exception to Fair Opportunity Brand Name is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 16.505(a)(4)(i) and is for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) requirement for licensing maintenance and subscription support of various VMWare by Broadcom products, such as VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) to virtualize servers, storage, and end users Desktop environment, Site Recovery Manager and Firewall Threat Prevention. VMware by Broadcom products are used for various projects Coast Guard Wide.
