Group Life Insurance

Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Addis Ababa will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website on January 26, 2026. The U.S. Embassy, Addis Ababa is seeking the services of an insurance company (contractor) who can provide Group Life Insurance for approximately 1,018 locally employed (LE) staff. This contract is a fixed-price with an economic price adjustment requirement, under which the government will issue firm fixed-price task orders. The premium rate is in USD, per one thousand dollars of annual salary. The premium covers life insurance, accidental death, dismemberment insurance, and partial and total disability coverage. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option period
