Description
Due to urgency of a long lead item, Watervliet Arsenal requires three large high strength alloy steel forgings for the manufacturing of the 120mm M256. Per the drawing involved, the designated chemical composition of alloy steel is in accordance with Questek Innovations QMS-M47. Competition was not attempted because this composition is proprietary to Questek, in conjunction with their producing mill, Carpenter Technologies.
