Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Tormach Inc for a Tormach Computer Numerical Control (CNC) PCNC 440 Mill milling machine. The Government requires a compact, research-grade CNC milling system that operates on standard 110V power, fits within existing laboratory space, is compatible with existing CAD software, and is suitable for operation by non-machinist personnel. The Tormach PCNC 440 is the only known product that meets these minimum requirements. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 12.102(a).
