Description
The attached justification for an exception to fair opportunity is posted within 14 days of award. The purpose of this Task Order is to obtain technical professional services to assist with the development, execution, and assessment of a national, multi-media Health Care Fraud Prevention Outreach and Education Campaign. The national campaign is designed to prevent and reduce fraud, waste, and abuse in the Medicare program. This Justification seeks to provide justification for an Exception to Fair Opportunity for the addition of a new Option Period 3. Because this modification introduces a new period of performance beyond what was originally awarded, a justification for an exception to fair opportunity under FAR 16.505(b)(2) is required.
