NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Service maintenance contract for 2 XmaxN-150 detectors and 1 EBSD This is a notice of intent to solicit from a single source. The US Geological Survey (USGS) intends to award a Purchase Order to Oxford Instruments, Inc. for a maintenance service agreement for 2 spectrometers and 1 Oxford Synergy Electron Back Scatter Diffractometer (EBSD). as described in the attached Statement of Work. Award will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) and the procedures at FAR Part 12 entitled, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 entitled, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
