Description
The purpose of this notice is to comply with the public posting requirements of FAR Part 5 and FAR 6.103-1. The requirement is for the upgrade, modification, and enhancement of the existing installed Simplex Fire Alarm and FM-200 Systems at the USAGM Kuwait Transmitting Station. The scope of work includes the supply of genuine manufacturer approved Simplex components, installation, proprietary system programming, software configuration, testing, commissioning, and integration with the existing system. This acquisition is being conducted under FAR Part 12. Competition was limited because only one responsible source is reasonably available to satisfy the Government's minimum requirements.
