Description
BACKGROUND: Forest Service is executing this procurement under the stewardship contracting authority provided under Section 8205 of Public Law 113-79, the Agricultural Act of 2014 as amended under Section 204 & 207 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act (Omnibus Bill 2018). Stewardship authority grants the Forest Service Chief or designee the authority to aggregate contractual requirements into stewardship projects. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.
