The Contractor shall provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to maintain and provide preventive maintenance for Incucyte SX5 serial # IC70655. The NCI studies the cellular response to DNA damage in order to identify novel targets, as well as targetable synthetic lethal interactions, to augment cancer therapies, including radio and chemotherapy. The characterization and validation of these targets requires the detailed analysis of the response of many cell lines to a wide combination of drug treatments and genetic modifications. The IncuCyte SX5 system allows this to be done in an efficient and high throughput manner, requiring less hands-on time from investigators, and on a smaller scale, thus reducing costs due to the requirement for fewer consumable reagents.
