The New York District (NAN) of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) proposes to perform maintenance dredging of the Hudson River Federal Navigation Project. DECRIPTION: The dredged material will be transported and placed into a New York State Dept. of Environmental Conservation (DEC) approved contractor provided upland dredge material placement site. The proposed maintenance dredging will remove approximately 10,000 cubic yards of critical shoals from the Troy Lock & Dock dredging area. Dredging will be required to a depth of -14 feet COE Datum River Datum (measured from normal pool of 13.59 above NAV88) plus 1-foot allowable over depth.
