Description
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to award a firm-fixed-price commercial contract. This contract, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, will be with the International Justice and Public Safety Information Sharing Network. The purpose is to provide CBP Law Enforcement Personnel with a secure acces to the National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (NLETS) and the Federal Motor Vehicle Registration System (FMVRS), at our nations Points of Entry. This will enable law enforcement officials to check the real-time status of criminal justice information of personnel and vehicle identification number (VIN) or license plate number of subjects attempting to gain entry into the United States.
