Description
NHTSA's New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) requires pedestrian protection impact testing on production motor vehicles. The Contractor(s) shall perform test-procedure evaluation; impactor qualification (headform, Flexible Pedestrian Legform Impactor (Flex-PLI), and upper legform); and pedestrian headform, Flex-PLI, and upper-legform tests on assigned vehicle models, in accordance with the NCAP Crashworthiness Pedestrian Protection Test Procedure, together with related qualification, reporting, and optional cyclist/aPLI testing.
