NextSeq 1000

The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) in Fort Detrick, MD intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW RFO 12.102(a)) with ILLUMINA, INC 5200 Illumina Way, San Diego, CA 9212-4616 as the only responsible source that can provide the NextSeq 1000 Sequencing System. This is a Presolicitation notice in accordance with RFO 5.101. The equipment provided by ILLUMINA INC is the only source that provides DHACA with the NextSeq 1000 Sequencing System and extended warranty used at the Armed Forces Medical Examiner System DNA Operations (AFMES-DNA OPS) to support their mission.
