Notice of Award for P-8A Engine Build-Up (EBU) and C-40A Quick Engine Change (QEC) kits and mating to CFM56-7B Core Engines

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded a firm-fixed-price economic-price-adjustment (FP-EPA), indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the procurement of up to 31 P-8A Engine Build-Up kits (18 for the Navy and 13 for Foreign Military Sales customers), including associated kit components and hardware required formatting and integration with CFM56-7B27AE core engines. Additionally, this contract provides for the procurement of up to two Quick Engine Change kits including associated kit components, mating hardware, and attaching hardware, for integration with CFM56-7B24E core engines to create complete C-40A Clipper spare engines. Work will be performed in Tukwila, Washington, and is expected to be completed in August 2031. No funds will be obligated at the time of award;
