Description
NOTICE OF INTENT FOR INTAGLIO PLATE GRINDERS The Treasury Common Services Center (TCSC)-Acquisition Center intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract on behalf of the Office of Engraving for Intaglio Plate Grinders. The Intaglio Plate Grinders are essential to the platemaking process for United States (U.S.) currency and are used to grind, polish, and finish plates to specification. The contract will be awarded to Koenig & Bauer (K&B) Banknote Solutions in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(b) and will procure five (5) new Intaglio Plate Grinders that meet the technical specifications within the Statement of Work (SOW).
