ANNOUNCEMENT The United States Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), announces its intent to award a sole-source purchase order to Aqua-Chem Inc. for an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certified technical representative to troubleshoot and repair Aqua-Chem freshwater distillation and reverse osmosis system onboard CGC Legare. This action is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. 2. PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE This notice serves to inform industry of the government's intent to award this requirement on a sole-source basis and to conduct market research to identify other sources that may be capable of satisfying this requirement.
