The requirement is for Laboratory Mail-Out Services: Expedited Viral Identification by Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Procedures and Pathology Studies and Ancillary Tests. The procurement of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) services and/or highly specialized, expedited electron microscopy services is on behalf of Naval Medical Center San Diego for the purposes diagnosing the presence of viruses or bacteria within an expedited manner.
