Description
This notice is being provided pursuant to the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Part 5 (FAR Class Deviation 25-17). The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ), intends to solicit from a single source under the authority of RFO Part 6.103-1 (FAR Class Deviation 25-11) to Tenergy Corp in Fremont, California, for customized rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs and compatible chargers. The Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action make only one source reasonably available based on the capabilities of the source and the proprietary nature of the products.
