Description
The DoD High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) has a requirement to relocate the TI-19 Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Supercomputer System from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio to the Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) facility in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The HPCMP intends to issue an award to Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company (CAGE Code: 7ES51) on a sole source basis. It has been determined that Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company is the only source with the capability to relocate this system. HPE is the manufacturer of the TI-19 AFRL supercomputer system, and only HPE has access to the proprietary physical and logical interconnections required to successfully disassemble and reassemble this supercomputer system.
