Descripción
The Base Emergency Communications System (BECS) intends to solicit and award Sole Source contract in accordance with FAR subpart 13.501, Special Documentation Requirements, to L3 Harris Technologies Inc. The BECS program modernization effort focuses on upgrading and ensuring the interoperability of Army public safety communications. This initiative supports the integration of Devens Reserve Force Training Areas (RFTA) legacy Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system into the Army CONUS Enterprise (ACE) LMR architecture, in conjunction with enhancing interoperability within the BECS capabilities. Devens RFTAs LMR Subsystem is future-ready, adaptable to evolving operational requirements with BECS capabilities, and integrated with critical communication systems to enhance emergency response and mission
