Notice of Sole Source Award for Honeywell System Upgrade

The 28th Contracting Squadron, Ellsworth AFB, SD awarded a sole source contract to Honeywell International, Inc for a system upgrade of B7510. APPLICIABILITY OF AUTHORITY: The Statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this acquisition is the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Department of the Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DAFFARS). FAR 13.106-l(b)(l)(i) justifies limiting the source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The attached Sole Source Justification outlines the Contracting Officer's justification and reasoning to award a sole source award to Honeywell International, Inc.
