Description

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - Pacific, in support of Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii, intends to make a sole source award to Cerus Corporation for the purchase of Intercept platelet pathogen reduction sets for use on the government-owned Cerus Illuminator. This will be for a 12-month base period plus four 12-month options from 1 October 2025 through 30 September 2030. The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is FAR 13.501(a)(l)(ii) which authorizes the government to award contracts when there is only one responsible source, and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements.
