Description
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project work consists of maintenance dredging of shoal material from the Federal navigation channel and Port Everglades berthing areas and will be divided into a Base (Federal) and Option A (non-Federal). This project incorporates 2 feet of allowable overdepth and dredged material will be disposed of in the Port Everglades Ocean Dredge Material Disposal Site (ODMDS). Additional work includes, but is not limited to, construction vibration monitoring, endangered species monitoring, turbidity monitoring, and maintenance of traffic. Option A: The project work includes dredging of Local Sponsor Port Berths 1 through 5, 7 through 10, 12 through 15, 26 and 27, 30A and 30G.
