** NOTE **: The below questions and answers regarding the Publications and Packaging CDRL portions of the solicitation are posted here for your reference: Packaging - Attachment 15 Question(s) 1. Section F calls out preserving all exterior unpainted metal surfaces in accordance with MIL-STD-2073 and coating said surfaces with preservative MIL-PRF-16173, Grade 1. In MIL-PRF-53051D, Section 3.10, it states that CARC paint shall not be applied to surfaces greater than 400F which means our metallic exhaust guard would not be painted. Is this coating able to be applied to surfaces greater than 400F? Additionally, is there a reason that preservative MIL-PRF-16173, Grade 1 is not listed in MIL-PRF-53051D anywhere? 2. Is there a MIL, ISO, FDA or some other standard that the corrosion preventative
