Raw Materials

Base Course: 823 RHS requires 2500 tons of Base Course material (3/4", 143.6 PCF, +80 CBR) for training operations on Holloman AFB. Deliveries of material must be accompanied by copies of certified waybills and delivery tickets. Interested parties who submit a bid must also submit laboratory test reports proving that their proposed materials meet the American Society of Testing and Materials standards (ASTM). Proposed samples must conform with ASTM D75/D75M. Coarse aggregate that is supplied from more than one source must be stockpiled separately. The Government will perform initial tests upon receipt of the first delivery to ensure the proposed material meets all requirements specified in the Statement of Work.
