This Request for Information (RFI) supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology (S&T) Directorates efforts to conduct market research in support of the Plum Island Animal Disease Center (PIADC) Closure & Support (PICS) for the Program Management Office (PMO). The S&T Directorate has responsibility for the safe, reliable, secure, efficient and compliant operations of PIADC, which is located on Plum Island, New York, an 840-acre island located approximately one and one-half miles from the eastern end of Long Islands North Fork. DHS is seeking an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Contractor to manage, operate, and maintain facilities, equipment, systems and grounds as PIADC implements a multi-year mission to decommission the island and its associated assets.
