Rollaway Container System Production

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), 12010 Sunset Hills Road, Reston, VA, 20190 for the production of up to 215 Rollaway Container Systems. This requirement is being pursued under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.103-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. SAIC is the only known source with the necessary knowledge, experience, manufacturing techniques, and resources to produce these systems without unacceptable delay and duplication of costs.
