Amendment 0001 is hereby issued to provide the Government's response to questions received from a prospective contractor(s). *Please note that, due to technical system issues, the SF30 will be uploaded once the system is operational again. QUESTIONs AND ANSWERs The following questions were raised and answers are hereby provided: Question No. 1: The solicitation requires prescription (corrective) lenses that also meet JIS T8147. In Japan, JIS T8147 applies to plano (non-prescription) lenses, so prescription safety glasses generally cannot carry formal JIS T8147 certification. Manufacturers instead perform in-house impact testing per the JIS T8147 method (confirming no shattering or cracking).
