14 SFS has a Brand Name Requirement for a Drone Detection Shield IAW DAFMAN 31-101_DAFGM2025-01, paragrpah 4.5, -centric Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft System (C-sUAS) capability to provide persistent detection, identification, classification, and alerting of small UAS (sUAS) in and around Columbus Air Force Base (CAFB), MS. The capability will protect the 14th Flying Training Wing's training operations (?260 sorties/day), support base security, and provide actionable, centralized situational awareness to the Base Defense Operations Center.
