Description
This is NOT a Solicitation. This is instead a SOLE SOURCE Special Notice, in accordance with RFO FAR 5.101 and RFO FAR 5.201, announcing the intention of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to award, to Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) to provide smart benefits/transit benefits to customers in the Washington capitol region, a new SOLE SOURCE contract for the project described below. This notice combines the Pre-solicitation Notice required by RFO FAR 5.101 and the Solicitation Notice required by RFO FAR 5.201, as no solicitation will be issued because the contract vehicle will be issued to the local transit authority (WMATA) authorized to provide fare media in identified areas via Economy Act Agreements and the authority of the Administrative Working Capital F
