Pre Solicitation Notice Tar Lake SuperfundTHIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR INVITATION FOR BID. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Detroit District is seeking a contractor to provide environmental services for the excavation of contaminated soil and expansion of a bio-sparge system at the Tar Lake Superfund Site in Mancelona Township, MI. The project will involve excavation of approximately 172,500 tons of contaminated soil with temporary shoring, backfilling with clean imported soils, installing 45 new bio-sparge wells, and an approximately 160 square foot pre-engineered structure to house the compressors.
