The Trapper Creek Job Corps Center has identified the need for asbestos remediation in mechanical and storage rooms in dormitory buildings 10, 11, 12, 13 after a site inspection finding of asbestos tile underneath the current carpet tiles. After remediation, new resilient vinyl sheet flooring is to be installed. To fully access the floor, the existing water heaters and furnace units will have to be uninstalled prior to removal and reinstalled after the new flooring has been laid. The need for mold remediation has also been identified in building 11 (dorm 2).
