Description
The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Sacramento District (SPK) anticipates a potential requirement for design-bid-build (DBB) construction services to renovate three (3) pumping stations (the Named Pumping Plants (NPPs)) in the Natomas region of Sacramento, California (CA). In general, the work for each site is anticipated to consist of removing the discharge pipes that currently go through the levee and installing new discharge piping that will traverse over the levee. Elkhorn Pumping Plant is an irrigation pumping plant located on the Sacramento River north of Interstate 5 and west of Highway 99 along the Garden Highway Levee at River Mile 73.6.
