This project consists of the reroofing of the historic UTE Tower on the Ashley National Forest. B. Work includes: 1. Remove and dispose of existing cedar wood shingle roofing system. 2. The existing plywood sheathing to remain. 3. Remove & reinstall the lightning protection rod, lightning protection cables across the roof, clamps & fasteners across the roof, and appurtenances across the roof. 4. Install a multi-width synthetic cedar shingle roofing system as specified in Specification Section 073129 SYNTHETIC CEDAR SHINGLES, and as per manufacturers instructions, to include matching synthetic cedar ridge caps on each of the 4 ridges. 5.
