Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC), on behalf of the Tomah VA Health Care System in Tomah, Wisconsin, is soliciting quotations for the lease of one (1) fully operational mobile 1.5 Tesla (1.5T) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) system housed in a mobile trailer. The requirement includes transportation, delivery, installation, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment repairs, technical support, training, software and firmware updates, accessories, and all associated services necessary to maintain continuous operational capability. VA personnel will operate the MRI system and perform all patient imaging procedures. The anticipated contract will be firm-fixed-price, consisting of a twelve-month base period and four twelve-month option periods, with a potential six-month extension of services. The acquisition is being conducted as a competitive Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside under the streamlined commercial acquisition procedures of the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) FAR Part 12, utilizing NAICS code 532490, Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing.
