Description
The Bureau of Reclamation, San Joaquin River Restoration Program, is required under the Stipulation of Settlement in the federal litigation of Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), et al. v. Kirk Rodgers, et al. 2006 and authorized by the San Joaquin River Restoration Settlement Act, Title X of Public Law 111-11 to construct channel and structural improvements including the creation of a bypass channel around Mendota Pool to ensure conveyance of at least 4,500 cfs from Reach 2B downstream to Reach 3.
