Description
Road upgrading work shall be implemented along 12 miles of Red Mountain Road. The road is a rural, dirt and aggregate-surfaced road in a steep, mountainous setting. Specific treatment sites and materials quantities are listed in Tables 1 and 2, respectively. Broadly, the work includes: Site-specific upgrades at 12 sites along the road, treatments shall include: o Culvert replacements o Installation of rocked drivable rolling dips and critical dips (see Appendix A for diagrams) o Rock armoring of culvert fill slopes and inlet areas o Installation of rock base material on delineated road segments.
