This announcement serves as a synopsis for informational purposes only. IT IS NOT AN RFQ. Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) intends to solicit for one (1) Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Horizontal Machining Center (HMC) and ancillary equipment. The CNC HMC shall be new and one of the manufacturers current models capable of operation in accordance with the requirements herein. The machine will be a cast or molded frame (not a welded steel frame). The CNC HMC shall be capable of operation in manual jog mode, semi-automatic, or fully automatic cycle. The machining center shall use standard ISO programming format for computer numerical controlled machine tools.
